FLEE THE ORDINARY

FLYJA is a brand that builds community among diverse adventurers seeking a deep and pure connection to the natural world on their own terms.  It’s about the unconventional ideas, the research and planning, the unknowns and unexpecteds, and the setbacks that lead us to those undisturbed places where we can find quiet solitude, a sense of accomplishment, and the presence of magic all around us.  

A 2020 vision, FLYJA was born in Dallas, Texas from friends who challenged the notion that a true adventure had to be a plane ride away.  Weekdays were consumed with conversations of “what if we tried…” and “would you be up for…,” and weekends were spent chasing down those ideas until a new, magical spot was discovered.  This is our culture.  We believe there is magic left to discover within ourselves and within nature, it just takes some work to find it.  Our mission is to showcase this magic, and inspire our community to seek it out for themselves.
